Tips & Techniques:

  • Post-Spawn — “The fish will be moving and covering a lot of territory. This is why the buzzbait works well at this time. You can cast it far and cover a lot of territory. A carolina rig is a great bait to work the channel drops. A jig, worm or big spinnerbait also work well. You have fish that live in shallow, mid, and deep waters. A big mistake people will make is targeting only one of those areas for fish. When you are throwing a spinnerbait or buzzbait and you do not catch any fish in 30 to 45 minutes it is time to switch.” (“Post spawn tactics for Tennessee bass” by Bill Glenn, TnAngler.com)
